My client for this project was CODEBOXR, a company that customizes WordPress, Joomla, and other open-source CMS platforms, and builds both free and professional extensions/addons.

My key responsibilities in this project included:

  • Social Network API Integration: I integrated over 25 social network APIs such as Facebook Like, LinkedIn, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, and Reddit, among others.
  • Front-End Design: I designed the front end to display all popular social network icons in a flyout box, with options to display the flyout box at the middle or bottom of the page and ensuring compatibility with mobile/smart devices.
  • Backend Settings/Options Development: I developed backend settings/options including control for buttons and flyout box, show count, option for normal or compact button, styling options to match any site design, and filter by item ID.

In this project, I applied my skills in Joomla CMS framework, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and extensive documentation of over 25 social network APIs. These technologies enabled me to create a dynamic and user-friendly social sharing plugin for Joomla.
