I developed an event management website/application for South Asian Carriers Meet (SACM), a platform for the international telecoms wholesale community focusing on the rapidly growing South Asian market. The website serves as a central hub for event information, registration, and networking opportunities.

Windmill Infotech Limited

My client for this project was Windmill Infotech Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified inbound and outbound call center, app developer, and web solution provider. With offices in Canada and Bangladesh, they serve clients globally.

My key responsibilities in the SACM project included:

  • Full Requirement Analysis: I conducted a comprehensive analysis of the client’s needs to ensure the website/application met their specific event management requirements.
  • Mockup Page Development: I developed mockup pages to visualize the design and layout of the website before actual development.
  • WordPress Customization: I customized WordPress to develop web pages as per the mockups, ensuring a unique and user-friendly interface.
  • BuddyPress Customization: I tailored BuddyPress to enhance social networking features, facilitating better interaction and networking among event participants.
  • Custom Plugin Development: I developed custom plugins to add specific functionalities required for event management.
  • Online Paid Membership Portal Development: I created an online portal for paid memberships, managing registrations and providing exclusive access to members.
  • Event Member Management: I implemented a system for effective event member management, streamlining the process of handling participant details and interactions.

In this project, I utilized my skills in JavaScript, PHP, HTML, CSS, WordPress, MySQL, and integrated various APIs for Payment Gateway, Gravatar, etc. These technologies enabled me to create a comprehensive, user-friendly, and efficient event management platform for SACM.
