Joomla! Component & Module

I developed the “LinkedIn Resume & Full Profile Display” as a Joomla component and module. This tool allows users to display their full LinkedIn profile as a resume within Joomla websites, offering various styles and flexible options like Email, Print, and PDF Export. It’s designed to work both for Admin and FrontEnd Users, enhancing the professional presentation on Joomla sites.

My client for this project was CODEBOXR, a company specializing in customizing WordPress, Joomla, and other open-source CMS platforms, and building free & professional extensions/addons.

My responsibilities in the LinkedIn Resume & Full Profile Display project included:

  • Front-End Design: I designed the front end for 4 pre-built styles, ensuring a sleek and professional display of LinkedIn profiles.
  • Update Support for Joomla! 3.0: I updated the module to support Joomla! 3.0, enhancing compatibility and performance.
  • LinkedIn Connect OAuth API Integration: I worked with the LinkedIn Connect OAuth API to fetch and display LinkedIn profile data accurately.
  • Back-End Setting Options Modifications/Enhancement: I modified and enhanced back-end setting options for better control and customization by the users.

In this project, I applied my expertise in the Joomla CMS framework, MVC architecture, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and LinkedIn API. These technologies enabled me to create a dynamic and useful Joomla component and module for professional LinkedIn profile displays.
